Safety Requirements for the Erection of Ringlock Scaffolding in Construction Operations

Structural safety has always been a primary objective in various construction projects, particularly for public buildings, ensuring structural integrity and stability even during seismic events. The safety requirements for the erection of ringlock scaffolding are as follows:

1.Strict Adherence to Construction Plans
Erection must strictly follow approved construction plans and on-site technical specifications. Cutting corners is prohibited, and all assembly procedures must be meticulously observed. Deformed or straightened vertical poles must not be used as construction materials.

2.On-Site Technical and Safety Supervision
Skilled technical personnel must be present to provide guidance during erection, with safety officers conducting follow-up inspections and supervision.

3.Prohibition of Overlapping Vertical Work
Cross-tier operations are strictly prohibited during erection. Effective measures must be implemented to ensure the safe transfer and use of materials, components, and tools. Safety barriers must be installed at traffic intersections and above/below work areas based on site conditions.

4.Control of Load on Working Platforms
The construction load on working platforms must comply with design specifications and must not exceed capacity. Materials such as formwork and steel reinforcement must not be concentrated on the scaffolding.

5.Unauthorized Removal of Structural Components Prohibited
During scaffold use, the removal of any structural members is strictly forbidden. If removal is necessary, approval from the technical supervisor must be obtained, and compensatory measures must be implemented before proceeding.

6.Safe Distance from Power Lines
Scaffolding must maintain a safe distance from overhead power lines. The installation of temporary power lines on-site, as well as grounding and lightning protection measures for scaffolding, must comply with the current industry standard Technical Code for Safety of Temporary Electricity at Construction Sites (JGJ46).

7.Regulations for High-Altitude Work
① Erection and dismantling must cease during Level 6 or stronger winds, rain, snow, or fog.
② Workers must use ladders to access scaffolding—climbing the frame is prohibited. Transporting personnel via crane or hoist is strictly forbidden.
