Common Types of Industrial Scaffolding and Their Calculation Methods

Frequently used scaffolding systems in construction projects include: Facade Scaffolding, Full-Floor Scaffolding, and Indoor Scaffolding.

1.Facade Scaffolding:
Erected vertically along the exterior face of building walls from ground level to the roofline, this provides access for bricklaying, decoration work, and material transport.
Calculation Method: Multiply the length of the building's outer perimeter by the erected height, based on vertical projected area. Specific calculation rules are detailed in the relevant bill of quantities(BOQ).

2.Full-Floor Scaffolding:
Primarily installed indoors, this system is essential for high-ceiling areas, providing a stable platform for overhead finishing operations.
Calculation Method: Based on the net floor area of the interior space. Specific calculation rules follow the applicable BOQ standards.

3.Indoor Scaffolding:
Also installed within building interiors, this scaffold type supports bricklaying and wall decoration activities.
Calculation Method: Similarly calculated based on the net floor area. Note: In cases where a Full-Floor Scaffolding is already installed, the quantity for Interior Finishing Scaffolds is calculated at 50% of the Full-Floor Scaffolding quantity.
