Construction Guide for Coupler-Type Scaffolding

Coupler-type scaffolding construction is a critical component of construction safety. Below are some key requirements:

Foundation Requirements: Scaffolding must be erected on a solid and level foundation, with additional base plates or supports. If the foundation is uneven, measures must be taken to ensure the overall stability and vertical alignment of the scaffolding. Reliable drainage facilities should also be installed to prevent accidents caused by foundation settlement due to water accumulation.

Secure Connections: Load-bearing members must be securely and reliably connected to ensure consistent force transmission and avoid accidents caused by unclear force transmission paths. The bending deformation of flexural members must not exceed specified limits, and cracks are strictly prohibited. All components at joints must be intact and undamaged, with couplers tightly fastened to meet design requirements and construction standards. Unauthorized removal or damage of any couplers or connecting components is strictly prohibited to ensure the stability and load-bearing capacity of the entire structure meet usage and safety requirements.

Inspection and Maintenance: Regular inspections and maintenance should be conducted during use to promptly eliminate hazards and ensure no safety risks. For personnel working at heights, personal protective measures such as safety harnesses, helmets, and anti-slip shoes must be worn to prevent accidents that could affect construction progress and quality, or even endanger lives.
