How to Maintain Commonly Used Ringlock Scaffolding in Industrial Projects to Extend Its Service Life

To prolong the service life of ringlock scaffolding, proper maintenance is crucial. Here are some effective maintenance methods:

1.Establish a Sound Management System: Develop and improve the usage, recovery, self-inspection, and maintenance protocols for ringlock scaffolding. Implement a quota-based or rental system for tools, adhering to the principle of "whoever uses it maintains and manages it," ensuring clear accountability.

2.Timely Maintenance and Proper Storage: After dismantling tool-type scaffolding (such as frame scaffolds, bridge scaffolds, hanging baskets, and material platforms), perform immediate maintenance and store components in matched sets.

3.Categorized Storage and Site Management: Used scaffolding (including structural parts) should be promptly returned to storage and sorted. If stored outdoors, ensure the ground is level with proper drainage, and use supports and tarps for coverage. Small parts and accessories should be stored indoors.

4.Small Parts Recovery Management: Small components like fasteners, nuts, washers, and pins used in ringlock scaffolding are easily lost. Excess items should be collected and stored promptly during assembly, and inspections should be conducted upon dismantling to prevent careless placement.

5.Rust Prevention Measures: Scaffolding components require anti-rust protection:
In humid areas (humidity exceeding 75%), apply anti-rust paint once a year; in general areas, apply twice a year.
Fasteners should be oiled to prevent rust, and bolts should be galvanized. If galvanizing is not feasible, clean them with kerosene after each use and apply anti-rust oil.

By implementing these maintenance measures, the service life of ringlock scaffolding can be effectively extended, enhancing its safety and durability.
