Scaffolding  inspection is divided into factory inspection and type inspection with different testing items, which shall be determined according to actual construction working conditions. The inspection criteria and core testing contents for four common scaffolding types are sorted out as follows:

1. General Scaffolding
Executive Standard: JG/T 503-2016
Inspection Items: Compressive strength of adjustable base, compressive strength of adjustable jack, single-sided shear strength, double-sided shear strength, bending strength, tensile strength and inner annular weld shear strength of connecting plates.

2. Cup-lock Scaffolding
Executive Standard: GB 24911-2010
Inspection Items: Appearance quality, weld strength of ledger joints, compressive strength of adjustable jack, structural strength of upper cup, and weld strength of lower cup.

3. Wheel-lock Scaffolding
Executive Standard: GB 24911-2010, GB/T 228.1-2010
Inspection Items: Percentage elongation after fracture, tensile strength, yield strength of steel pipes, weld strength of ledger joints and lower cup weld strength.

4. Ringlock Scaffolding
Executive Standard: JG/T 503-2016
Inspection Items: Appearance quality, compressive strength of adjustable base, shear strength, bending strength, tensile strength and inner annular weld shear strength of connecting plates.
