Scaffolding Safety Details

Scaffolding safety on construction sites is critically important. According to the 《Unified Standard for Safety Technology of Building Construction Scaffolds》 (GB 51210-2016), vertical diagonal bracing must be installed on the longitudinal outer face of operational scaffolds. Specific regulations are as follows:

1.Width of Diagonal Bracing: Each diagonal bracing should span 4 to 6 bays, with a width of no less than 6 meters and no more than 9 meters. The inclination angle of the diagonal bracing to the horizontal plane should be between 45° and 60°.

2.Erection Height: When the erection height is less than 24 meters, diagonal bracing should be installed at both ends, corners, and at intervals not exceeding 15 meters along the scaffold, running continuously from the bottom to the top. When the erection height is 24 meters or above, diagonal bracing must run continuously along the entire outer face from the bottom to the top.

3.Special Scaffolds: Cantilever scaffolds and attached lifting scaffolds must have diagonal bracing running continuously along the entire outer face from the bottom to the top.

These regulations are designed to ensure the stability of the scaffold and the safety of workers. Please strictly adhere to these safety standards when erecting and using scaffolds.
